I knew right away that regulatory enforcement was the job for me - and, after completing my degree at Manchester Metropolitan University, I joined West Yorkshire Trading Standards as a trainee. I became a fully qualified trading standards officer and gained 12 years’ experience in many areas including unfair trading, trade marking, food crime, and product safety.
Although Clare and I share the same surname (and a passion for regulations and compliance) we’re not related. She was my manager at West Yorkshire Trading Standards - and offered me a job when she decided to grow C2Compliance. We’re great friends, think alike, and make a great team.”
